Weekend Warriors!

After almost a year of talking about and planning for, we started our backyard firepit today! We both ache like crazy tonight...hauling, lifting and placing these rocks is a lot more work than I ever thought it would be! But we are both very excited about it now and anxious to work some more on it later.

Living Planet Aquarium

On Sunday Michael and I took our oldest grandaughter, Teresa, and our youngest grandaughter, Ellie, to the aquarium to see the new penguin display! We had so much fun with the girls, they are such great kids! I'm so lucky to be their Grammy!

Winter Wonderland

These pictures don't show it very well but this morning everything was white, frosty and frozen! It looked so pretty like all the trees were crystal! It was COLD, but it was pretty.

Just ONE little ole chocolate!

I swear, just one little chocolate! That's all she had....then I hear her come up to me and say, "Gramma...oh oh, lookey dat!" When I turn around this is what I find!
(And there is the chocolate on the counter...she didn't even consume half of it!)

Best Part of My Job

I love my job running the book store. I get to meet many different kinds of people and have some great conversations with them! People are so friendly shopping in this type of store. But my favorite part of my job is being able to help take care of my youngest grandaughter, Ellie. She turned two years old this last week and all of a sudden it seems like the baby has been left behind and we have a little girl who speaks full sentences and can actually communicate with us! She is wonderful but I sure will miss the little baby Ellie too.

The beginning of The Book Shack's website was turned on today! It has a ways to go but it is a start! Check it out and let me know what you think. My Weekend!

Saturday night we had a scrapbook sleepover with all 5 of my grandaughters! We had so much fun, scrapped, made cards, glued our hands up, had pizza...slept some then got up and started scrappin' all over again!
