Walk Now for Autism

As most of you may know my 5 year old grandson, Wyatt, is autistic. Salt Lake needs a loud voice to speak to the legislature and help to get more schools, more medical aid, more education about autism. Autism Speaks is a grassroots organization that has the ability to do that. There will be a walk on May 3 and if enough money can be raised we can get a chapter of Autism Speaks in our area. Please check out my link under the Autism Walk logo and learn more about what can be done. If you would like to walk with us or join our team please feel free. If you would like to donate to the cause that would be greatly appreciated also. Our team is called Wyatt's Warriors. Until Wyatt is able to speak for himself we will be his warriors and fight for this cause that is in epidemic proportions at this time.

Thanks for looking!

OK...Let's talk emails!

Emails are the greatest thing...how fast can you get a message to another person? Just a click of a button and off it goes! Even when you don't mean for it to go.

Have you ever put together an email that you had full intention of forwarding to someone? You are going to forward it because the email received and your message go together...you are forwarding it to someone because you are completely dissing the person that sent the original email...you are forwarding to someone who will totally understand the things you are about to say, and will totally understand how angry you are at the person who sent the original email. So you put your thoughts together, express your anger, say slightly rude things and totally vent...then hit REPLY instead of forward!

So, tomorrow I have some huge apologies to make...tomorrow I may not have a job...tomorrow I dont want to wake up.

Be careful with your emails. Make sure they are going where you intended them to go.
I'm going to bed now to cry myself to sleep with frustration!

Better & Worse

OK....for better...
At 2:00 in the morning I was still not able to sleep and I was thinking about the new shelf I built and how part of it wasn't white and it bugged me. (I know, you don't need to tell me how ridiculous that is) So I decided to get up and paint the shelves...then I decided to build a better base to put the bottom shelves on to raise it up and the Cricut could fit under the bottom shelf! Of course they were not white so they needed to be painted too. At 4:00 in the morning I finally decided to go back to bed.

Worse...
Then today I proceed to make a bigger mess! I found a set of 4 mini-albums that I haven't worked on in a long time and I got them out to figure out what I needed to do to get them finished.
So now I have decided to close the door and not do anymore damage to this room until Dish TV is finished with the installation on Tuesday then I can try to put it back to a workable room again!

hmmm...I wonder if my kitchen pantry needs to be cleaned out and rearranged!

Not always Neat & Organized!

Everyone is always saying that my scrapbook room is always so neat and organized...not so!

I thought I would share a couple of pics with you of what my room looks like right this very minute! I am having Dish TV installed into my scrapbook room and they said I needed a 3 foot clearance behind the TV for them to work so I had to go in and move a bunch of pieces of cabinetry! Then I decided to start cleaning & purging some of my stuff...then I decided to organize my movies while the cabinet was torn up...then I decided I really wanted to make cards instead....then I decided that I needed new shelves for my Cricut cartridges because I was running out of room, so I went out to the garage and built some new shelves (just the ones that the cartridges are on, not the other shelves)...they didn't turn out too bad!...then I looked at the whole mess and it made me tired so now I have decided to take a movie and go to bed! Tomorrow is another day as Scarlet would say!
ANYWAY, just wanted y'all to know my SB room isn't always as neat & organized as some of you may think!

YAY GIANTS!

Superbowl 2008!

The good guys finish first and the cheaters don't win! (sorry to any Patriot fans out there)

Superbowl Sunday began with snow, snow, snow! Didn't know for sure if we would end up having a party or not, but it slowed down and everyone was able to get here safely! Michael had to keep going out with a stick and knock the snow out of the satellite dish so we could get reception!

We had tons of food and all of us ate tons of it! Ellie seemed to enjoy watching football which made her daddy very happy! So despite all the snow a good time was had by all!
